Autumn – embracing change


There is plenty on offer this term to ensure you ease into autumn with a sense of stability, inner focus, stillness and resolve.

Autumn is all about change, can you feel it in the air? I invite you to pause, catch your breath and allow yourself a bit of time for clarity and perspective.

Summer is so often a busy time where we try and fit so much in to the longer days.  Now with the change in seasons it’s important to recognise and surrender to the call for reflection and quietness.

This terms yoga classes will focus on grounding, strengthening, warming and calming as we prepare ourselves for the winter.

Vacancies in Tuesday early morning class 7am to 8am, Wednesday after work 5.30pm to 6.30pm, Thursday reenergiser class 5.15pm to 6.30pm  All these classes commencing next week for an 11 week term.

If you really want to nourish your body, mind, heart and soul then consider my autumn retreat being held in the natural setting of Anapana Ridge in Lesmurdie.  Open to men and women and no previous experience is required as this retreat will suit the beginner as well as the more experienced meditation practitioner as you take time out to go within.

While many look outside for happiness and meaning the truth is it resides within us by connection to the heart.

I am so looking forward to sharing with you on this retreat gentle movements to soften the body and open the pathways to your heart.

We will also explore the deeper profound effects of relaxation and breathing techniques.  We’ll enjoy some creative expression where we weed out what is no longer serving us then plant new seeds of transformation with some creative writing and colour exploration on paper.

Yoga Australia

Sarah is now fully registered with Yoga Australia as a level 2 teacher and also has an HBF provider number so for you that might mean you can claim a rebate on your private health insurance for classes and courses. Quite a number of health funds are registered with Yoga Australia so it is worth inquiring if you can claim.

Easing Back PainNEW course

Back pain is not complicated or necessary.  90% of back pain in musculoskeletal .  Research shows that musculoskeletal back pain most commonly occurs because back muscles are out of balance.  Some are over worked and some are lazy.

This program will kick start the lazy muscles and gets the over worked ones to loosen up, leaving your back strong and flexible.

This course is open to anyone, men and women, who are experiencing non specific back pain.

Running over 8 weeks commencing Thursday May 14th at 6.45pm to 7.45pm

Course cost $280.00 which includes handouts and weekly email support.

To gain benefit from this program you are expected to do the exercises everyday in between the weekly classes.

Yoga for men

If you are interested in an early Thursday morning class for men only from 6.30am to 7.30am then please let me know and this can be arranged.

Don’t wait till you’re fit or flexible enough, start the day with some stretching and strengthening and you will notice the difference to the quality of your day.  You will have more energy, a clearer mind, be less reactive and more responsive and generally feel much better.

You will learn how to de-stress your body and mind effectively, learn how to manage your energy levels, deeply relax and gain a toolbox of strategies to draw on to improve your health and well being on an everyday basis.
