Wintera time for quiet contemplation

Greetings,

I hope this newsletter finds you warm, healthy and enjoying the quiet time of winter.  I also hope that you are using this quiet, cold time of year to go within a little and reflect on what is going on for you just under the surface?  What ideas, goals, dreams, attitudes, beliefs and thoughts are manifesting within you right now?  If we were to take time out to reflect on what nature does in winter we might notice that a lot of things slow down, energy is withdrawn and taken inwards for contemplation and nourishment in preparation for the activity of springtime ahead.

Winter is a great time to sit and reflect on what has worked and what hasn’t, what you might want to bring forward and what you might like to discard.  It is a great time to call your energy/spirit back so that you can be fully present and have 100% available to contemplate with.  For example if you were to conduct a bit of an energy audit on yourself where would you identify your biggest outputs?  Are you using your energy to fuel your dreams and goals and therefore moving forward in the direction you choose?  Or are you letting your energy drain out in worry, doubt and fear based thinking, holding onto old beliefs and attitudes that may not be serving you any more leaving you feeling exhausted and going nowhere?

It’s important to take stock and check on what seeds you have planted and how you are nourishing those seeds over winter because this will greatly affect how prepared you are when springtime comes around.

We live in changing times and the only constant is change.  Make a friend of change and look at what you need to do to enable you to move forward toward a healthier, brighter, lighter you.  We could all benefit from making our lives lighter, whether that means lighter in body weight, lighter in thoughts, lighter in our hearts, ask yourself the question.  What three things could I do that would allow me to move forward a little lighter?

Grab yourself a warm cup of something nourishing and contemplate on that question.  Change comes from within and if we all change three thigns for the better making our lives lighter then we will be contributing to a lighter world.
Namaste
